- Herbin is the oldest name in pen inks in the world. M. Herbin created The Jewel of Inks in his shop on the Rue des Fosses Saint-Germain in Paris in 1670.
- Herbin uses all natural dyes in their fountain pen inks.
- They are mainly composed of water, humectant to limit drying at the level of the pen and preservative to preserve their qualities over time.
- This natural composition is reflected in the very neutral pH of the inks.
- The dyes used have been specially selected to offer the richest color range on the market. Finally these inks are finely filtered so as not to clog the pens.
